High School Student's Problems...

The biggest problem that high schoolers come up against is pressure. Pressure comes from all sides: school, sports teams, peers, family and extra curricular activities. Even though kids may want to participate in all of these things, the pressure that they come up against doesn’t make it fun. Sports and other activities are supposed to enrich your lives, not make them more stressful. Added pressure from all the things that high school students choose to put on themselves takes away from the overall benefit of those activities. Take, for example, sports. Sports are supposed to be an outlet for stress and a fun opportunity to bond with other people. Rather, they have been made into a situation where kids feel the pressure to perform well all of the time, else they be punished. This should not be the theme of sports and other activities. High school students, and their teachers, need to learn to take it one thing at a time and not succumb to the pressure.
