Israel liberal
1. Borders

2. Right of
Return
-
The right of return
concerns who has the right to immigrate.
-
Most of the Jewish
people and their ancestors can immigrate into Israel
-
The Jewish and
Palestinian people should be able to return if they live in peace with their
neighbors.
-
People would have their
house and buy their own land.
3. the Green Wall
The Labor Party agreed to
take part in negotiating joining Prime Minister Ariel SharonŐs coalition
government. A coalition government is when small factions or parties come
together to form a majority. This means that the Israel Labor Party will meet
with other parties to negotiate whether or not the Green Wall separating the
West Bank will stay or come down.
4. Settlements
5. Jerusalem
The defense minister Ehud
Barak is dragging his feet on the issue partly to firm up support of his
security credentials. He is doing this because of his last failure of an effort
of a comprehensive peace with Yassir Arraft, the former Palestine leader. He
has agreed to let 5,000 Palestinians register to live in the Palestinian
territories, but without legal status.
6. Gaza
-
Supports the
continuation of Jewish settlement on the west Bank in the Gaza Strip.
-
Right now the strip is
governed by the Palestinian National Authority.
-
A move such as Gaza
pullout can only be successful when the territory one leaves is handed over to
responsible hands and anchored in agreements and international guarantees.
-
We need to act to the
bombing and not escape.
-
The disengagement from
Gaza was a bad idea.
