Borders

Due to the fact that Palestine is declaring a state, there should fair borders that both Israel and Palestine should agree on. The Palestinians, in the PLO’s opinion should at least have the Gaza strip, the majority of Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, and we shouldn’t really worry on the West Bank because of how many Israeli’s are there already. The reasons why I and the rest of the PLO think that we should have all of this land is because of how much the Palestinians have suffered due to the Israeli people. They have the money and the power, so they have slowly but surely been taking over peaces of Palestinian land, an example being the Green Wall, which has been used as a scapegoat for Israel to take over more of our land. On top of this, Palestinians have been occupying all of the land for the past 2000 years. This was because the Israeli’s had left, and then we took over. Then the Israeli’s had come back with all of the money they had received from the U.S., and they claimed that the land was theirs. This was also a complete lie because they had left the land for no apparent reasons, and when hey were done lollygagging, they had came back to our land, and expected us just to hand it over. With all of their money, and their great army, they could do what they wanted, so that is what they did. Since then, they have been making us suffer with what ever small pieces of land hat we have left, and all of the land that we were kicked off of. The land that was rightfully ours, but we were kicked off because the Israeli’s had a better army. So all in all, the PLO and I believe that the Palestinians deserve the land said before due tot the fact that we have such little land now, and that we have been suffering since the Israeli’s have came back to take over our land. They already have enough land, so I don’t see why they can give back some land that they had stolen to us, and we can go on from there. This would only be fair due to the fact of how crappy Palestinian lives have been without the thought of security, having enough land, or even getting attacked by the Israeli army. The act of the Israeli’s giving back our land would also show that there is a chance of solving the near never-ending conflict between the Israeli’s and the Palestinians. This act should happen rather quickly, and when the violence rate is the lowest, so the chance of deaths will be the lowest. But before any of this happens, we think that the U.S. should help pitch in with the situation, and try to neutralize all terrorism with the least violence possible. The U.S. should help pitch in because since they have been helping out one side of the conflict, they should also help out the other as well, which is only fair.

2. Right of Return

This topic is very important to what should be a separate country. We must not let any Jewish immigrants into the country because there is no room. We must save what jobs are available to people born in Palestine. Also if the borders were opened for Jewish people this would upset the balance of Jews to Arabs, leaving an unavoidable power struggle between the two groups that would be very hard to resolve. We too have a right to the holy lands having been there for thousands of years, and we do not want to be mistreated by a larger Jewish population.

We also want a country of our own, and if we were awarded one, we would allow Israel to allow immigrants. If there were a sudden burst in Jewish population, there would be economic instability because of the sudden demand for goods. These people would be too reliant on the government for housing and jobs, which would also hurt the economy. We simply cannot just open our borders to Jewish immigrants because the consequences would be too devastating. We need to limit the number of Jewish immigrants to the same number as Arab immigrants or close the borders completely. The law of return is flawed. It allows nearly anybody to just come into the country too easily. It must be changed so that only people who had a parent living here could come back not just someone from any country that claims to be Jewish.

3. the Green Wall

The Green Wall- The Green Wall is absolutely ridiculous for many reasons. The only reason why they put it up is because they can due to the fact that they receive a lot of money from the Americans. The only other reason why they put it up is because they believe that it is reducing the number of deaths form the suicide bombers. This may be true, but the only reason why there are even suicide bombers is how the Israeli’s are trying to take over the land that they claim to have occupied from over 2000 years ago. The green wall was supposed to go over the already existing boarders that separated the two groups of people, but the wall is taking over great percentages of Palestinian land, which is unbelievable that they would even think to do such a thing. Like our pieces pf land aren’t small enough! The concept of the wall was pretty good overall, but the fact that the Israeli’s used it as a scapegoat to just take over more and more of our land. This would have been a great temporary solution for all of the violence, but the fact of how much land they are taking just ruins the while idea, and we think that it should be taken down immediately. Even though it has been hard to find a solution that both the Israeli’s and the Palestinians will agree on, but it is bogus that that Israeli’s will just try to take advantage us because they have the money and the power to. Even though the concept of the wall worked to reduce the violence in some areas, the direction that it is being built in is complete bull just because that have the power, the money, and the authority from the U.S.’s money. The wall should be taken down right away due to the fact of how much land is being taken away from the Palestinians.

4. Settlements

In the West Bank everything is dismantled. About five hundred thousand Jews are living tin the West Bank in illegal settlements. Brought forth by the Geneva Convention. The problem is that the Jews have religious rights to these lands promised to them by the Lord himself written in the text. Yet, under the Israeli rule they have said that these settlements are legal. Also there are about another two hundred thousands Jews under Israeli government that they swear is part of Jerusalem even though it is not. The only big problem with this besides it being illegal is the fact that there are millions of Palestinians in these areas that know that this is their land and are in fear of losing more of it to settlement and becoming an even greater threat to their money income, their economy. The reason that Israel cannot stop the settlement without a lot of conflict is because of the violence and money lost in this situation. About seven million people are for settling in the area and therefore the government would be upsetting all their people. They would also halt all their income from the settlers giving money to them being under their control which would not be a very good thing for the government. They are thinking about creating a border with the Palestinians in order to relocate and will probably given profit as well but, the it will be very hard to do because of what will happen to Jerusalem as well. But in basics I believe they are holding out because whichever way they go there will be conflict and violence that will arrive. Under myself as the Palestinian Liberation Organization I obviously want the land for the Palestinians, which I will debate for.

5. Jerusalem

In Jerusalem the conflicts are basically the same the Israelis keeps on spreading settlements into Jerusalem, which is making much conflict arise. The problem is that this still is angering the Palestinians because they have proof that this land was provided to them yet, they cannot have it. The problem as well is that the population is seemingly increasing and the government is not doing anything about it. The Palestinians are pretty much as far as they will be pushed and have their landed stripped from them until multitudes of conflict arise. AS well the Israeli government also controls all of the holy sites, which have ties to all of the Palestinians peoples government. In short both the Israeli government and the Palestinian have written proof that the said land in question belongs to them creating much conflict that cannot be altered very simply as shown. Again as the Palestinian Liberation Organization I want to prove the land is for my people the Palestinians.

6. Gaza

Peace in Gaza will hopefully happen in the years to come but currently it does not look good. The people in this territory will only be happy once they get the land to themselves. I think that the Palestinians in this area should be awarded this land because they have been there the longest and need a place to call there home. The Jewish people in the area continue to build homes where they should not. Also, they are continually murdering Palestinian civilians for no good reason. Because of this continual abuse, the people have no money and are starving throughout the Gaza strip. The people are also being forced into overcrowded refugee camps and thus feel they are being treated unfairly and the only way to solve the problem is to fight back. In order for there to be peace Palestinians must be given land and the Jews leave the area.
