Our mission is to make sure that each table is supplied with a pitcher of water and appropriate condiments for the day's meal.
Our goal is to do this in a timely fashion, before the bell is rung for lunch to start.
Our tasks/duties are the same as the mission, to supply all the tables with water and condiments.
Desired skills for future inspectors need to consist of: good leadership skills, and someone who is bold in the sense that they aren't afraid to give tardies or demerits when people don't show up. Pre-Lunch Inspectors need to be people who are not afraid to tell people to work when they aren's working, etc. Since this job is before lunch, it's imperative that inspectors be people who are not late on a consistent basis, and make a conscious effort to be on time. This job for the most part has been easy. The only hard part is working with people who are uncooperative and trying to motivate them to do their job- also dealing with people who show up late consistently.
Ways to Become an Inspector: Talk to the faculty member who is head of the workjob that you want. Maybe talk to some current inspectors of the position you want, so that you can find out exactly what the job entails, expectations, etc.
