The Implicit Trust of Being a Leader in
the Suffield Community
The data entry web page and subsequent assignments
such as Ms. Stowe's shows that SA community is trusting writing
center tutors more. Thus, we have to respond to that
trust:
- Write positive comments in the narrative box.
(Remind me to incorporate a future workshop on guardian
angels)
- Maintain attendence. If a tutor anticipates an
absence, he or she should find a replacement. Also, Wednesday
nights will become more important as writing center traffic
increases and faculty use the data base more. We need to prepare
well for our two main goals in the spring: personal narrative
assignments from Juniors as well as potential work wtih the SAT
II.
- We should also be in the Writing Center b/c
shy underclassman folks may find it difficult to ask you in the
middle of the library. Also, let's use this great room better. Can
we get some art for the walls? Can you bring some of your artwork?
- Always support fellow tutors and help train
new tutors.
Anything to add? What do you think of the
direction of the writing center? What method or practice have we
jettisoned that you think needs recovering?
